To this end, we would like you to meet Petaluma (94952) rideshare driver Marci VonFeldt …

Marci VonFeldt

Marci VonFeldt became a rideshare driver because she was looking for a part-time job since recently retiring. Her main reason for becoming a driver is that she enjoyed a long career working with the public. Marci loves driving and interacting with people, so Women Driving Women was a perfect fit! Besides her passion for helping other women, Marci is grateful for the opportunity to help someone savor a day out of the house.

Q: What has surprised you most about working as a driver for women?

A: I recently had surgery that kept me from getting out of my house. It’s how much I now appreciate the opportunity to help someone be able to get out of their home.

Q: What’s the best/worst thing to happen since you started ridesharing?

A: The best thing is that I have a young family that I drive for and genuinely adore the boys and helping their parents juggle getting all of them to their different activities.

Q: What might (someone) be surprised to know about you?

A: Probably my age. I’ve been told I don’t look as old as I am. That’s fine with me.

Q: What’s your superpower?Marci VonFeldt's Super Power: Quilting

A: That I am a Quilter. The other women in my family are fantastic cooks and make it look effortless. I love making quilts and giving them as gifts to loved ones. I don’t say I’m really good at it, but I love it!

Q: Who is someone you admire, and why?

A: My maternal grandmother. She had a positive outlook and always had a smile. She was independent and living in her place until she was 95. She loved a great party.

Q: Finish this sentence. On your day off, I enjoy …

A: Having coffee on my porch out in the country listening to the world around me wake up.

Q: Name three words that describe you:

A: 1. Friendly. 2. Kind. 3. Funny.

Q: What would be your motto?

A: Be kind. It costs you nothing, but your rewards are priceless.

Marci raised two beautiful children as a single mom. She feels her children are her best work. Marci also has an adorable, high-energy 3-year-old grandson who is the joy of her life. Marci once enjoyed a successful career in the legal profession.
