The WDW Approach

Women Driving Women Driver NoraWe frequently hear in the news about unsafe incidents with Uber or Lyft drivers.

We believe that women, children, and elders should have a safe riding alternative.

That's why we created Women Driving Women!

Some of the things we do to keep you safe:

  • All drivers are vetted before being hired.
  • All members are assigned a personal driver so you'll know the person picking you up.
  • For our child members, the child and parents have the option of meeting the driver in advance of the first ride.
  • A parent must coordinate all rides for their children, so you'll always know when and where your child is being driven.

The WDW Story

Renee Cooper started Women Driving Women when she was driving for Uber and Lyft.  Renee realized she felt more at ease picking up a female.  And when she picked up women, they often said they were relieved to see a female was picking her up.  Ding, ding! Renee realized that having females on both sides made both of us safer. can we do it legally, Dad?
